A digital pattern by Rosie Taylor Crafts


This is a confident beginner epattern to sew sturdy storage cubes/baskets in four sizes. Experience applying the binding would be helpful but not necessary as detailed instructions on how to do this are included. Organize your sewing room, any desk, kitchen, bathroom, or a DVD or games collection, these pretty boxes are ideal for any space. These baskets can be created with patchwork or in a simple plain style.

Approximate finished basket sizes:

Square Boxes

  • Small: 5" wide by 5 ¼" high by 5" deep

  • Large: 6" wide by 6 ¼" high by 6" deep

Long Boxes

  • Small: 10" wide by 5 ¼" high by 5" deep

  • Large: 12" wide by 6 ¼" high by 6" deep
