Crochet Drawstring Backpack – Free Pattern

A nice simple round-bottom backpack with a basic drawstring and flap-closure to crochet for all ages.  TalviKnits will walk you through each step to make this classic backpack with your favorite yarns. Enjoy!

Suggested Crochet Supplies:

2. worsted weight cotton yarn: 500g (18 oz) of main color (Lammy Yarns Florida, color #552)

3. 
   

4. a small amount of contrasting color for edging and cords

5. 
   

6. 4 mm (US G/6) and 7 mm (US K/10½) crochet hooks

7. 
   

8. plastic side release buckle

9. Gauge: 11 sc and 13 rnds = 10 cm / 4 in, yarn held double
