Sydney Crossbody Bag Sewing Pattern by Swoon

A large casual cross-body bag is perfect for daily use while commuting or running errands. The Sydney Crossbody Bag sewing pattern by Swoon features options such as; multiple storage areas including two pleated cargo pockets with flap closures, a large zippered pocket, a back slip pocket and a zippered pocket inside. A zippered top closure keeps your things secure inside. The wide cross-body strap makes carrying this bag quite comfortable. The Sydney Crossbody bag measures 13″ wide x 11″ tall x 3″ deep once completed.

Sewing Supplies:

  1. 1 yard 44” wide quilting or canvas weight exterior fabric

  2. 1 yard 44” wide quilting weight lining fabric

  3. 3/8 yard woven or vinyl contrasting fabric

  4. 3/8 yard fusible fleece interfacing

  5. 3 yards fusible woven interfacing

  6. 1/8 yard fusible heavy stabilizer

  7. 14” all-purpose zipper (zip top)

  8. 12” all-purpose zipper (front pocket)

  9. 9” all-purpose zipper (interior pocket)

  10. Four 14 mm magnetic snaps

  11. Two 1” D-rings

  12. Two 1.5” swivel clips

  13. One 1.5” strap slide

  14. Fabric glue (Beacon Fabritac) (optional)

  15. Coordinating thread
