Sew Flat Zipper Tabs That Look Professional


This short video from Sew Hungry Hippie offers a quick step-by-step tutorial for achieving flawless zipper tabs—those tidy little end tabs that finish off a zipper with a polished look.



Ensure your tabs look perfect by following these steps:


1. Trim your zipper to be one-inch shorter than the width of the bag body.

2. Use cotton for the tabs on the zipper.

3. Sew very close to, but do not sew over, the zipper tabs in the side seams.

4. Firmly push the tabs out once the bag is turned right side out.

5. Press well
