Sew Magazine of the UK offers this free sewing project and pdf pattern to download and print for a leather purse with a flap closure and adjustable shoulder strap.  This leather bag finishes up at 21 cm x 29 cm. or 8.26″ x 11.42″.

You will need:

  1. fabric: leather, soft, purple, yellow, white,

  2. cotton, two prints, fat-quarter of each

  3. interfacing, fusible, lightweight

  4. thread, sewing, strong leather punch pliers

  5. glue, fabric

  6. handbag clasp

  7. sliding bar for adjustable strap,

  8. three clothes pegs, small
