A simple envelope clutch bag with style from the early 1930’s. This sewing pattern download is for a compact and easily constructed bag. This clutch bag owes it’s elegance to the asymmetric flap and a single large bow – or – a vintage-style rose and leaf, sewn on an eye-catching angle.  This bag is a small size making it ideal for proms and weddings, and can be sewn in everything from cotton quilting fabrics to pretty pastel silks, brocade or floral home decor fabric.

This PDF also includes templates and detailed instructions with photographs showing you how to make the pretty 1940’s-style rose embellishment, which also can be used as a corsage. Bag dimensions: 7” (18 cm) tall by 11½” (29 cm) wide.
