A digital sewing pattern by Country Cow Designs

Ideal for short getaways and weekend escapades, this bag is designed to meet the specific "personal" cabin luggage requirements of Ryanair airline (accurate at the time of publishexing). Moreover, it serves as an excellent standard size for a weekend duffle bag. This bag has an exterior pocket to fit a passport and other essentials. An adjustable cross-body strap makes it easy to carry as well as handy grab handles.


Please note that "duffle" is spelled as "duffel" in British English.


This PDF sewing pattern includes a "customize the size" section that details how to customize the bag size to your exact requirements. This bag can be made using a wide variety of materials such as cork, vinyl, cotton, canvas, or leather. Make sure that your sewing machine can handle sewing through a lot of layers. The handles are sewn through all the layers so for domestic sewing machines, using cotton fabrics is recommended for both the exterior and lining fabrics. A "confident beginner" sewing pattern.


Finished size: 15 1/4″ wide by 9 1/4″ tall by 7 1/4″ deep (39cm x 24cm x 19cm).
