A digital sewing pattern from Charlie's Aunt Designs

Saxted Green Satchel
Charlie's Aunt Designs

Emma Brennan from Charlie’s Aunt Designs is the creative mind behind the Saxted Green Satchel PDF sewing pattern. Drawing inspiration from the 1940s evacuee military-style satchels, this shoulder bag boasts a generous size, practicality, and elegance. Its standout features include an asymmetrical front pocket and a secure flap closure.

Crafted with versatility in mind, the Saxted Green Satchel can be sewn with either a custom-made or ready-made strap. Additionally, the PDF pattern comes complete with sewing instructions for incorporating an interior patch pocket.

Upon completion, the satchel measures 13” (33 cm) in height, 16” (41 cm) in width, with a darted base width of 2.5” (6 cm).
