The Two Hour Tulip Purse sewing pattern by Janice Pope of “Anything But Boring” offers instructions and pattern pieces for four different size Two Hour Tulip Purses:

  1. Petite – six inch

  2. Standard – seven inch

  3. Large – eight inch

  4. Jumbo – nine inch-

Materials Needed:

  1. Outer fabric for purse, straps, optional outer pocket: PETITE – 1/2 yd, STANDARD – 1/2 yd, LARGE – 1 yd, JUMBO – 1 yd

  2. Lining fabric – PETITE – 1/2 yd, STANDARD – 1/2 yd, LARGE – 1 yd, JUMBO – 1 yd

  3. Fusible fleece or batting – PETITE – 1/3 yd, STANDARD – 1/3 yd, LARGE – 2/3 yd, JUMBO – 2/3 yd

  4. Fusible interfacing (44 in. wide) – PETITE – 1/2 yd, STANDARD – 1/2 yd, LARGE – 2/3 yd, JUMBO – 2/3 yd

  5. 3 1/2 in. cording for fastening

  6. Large glass bead or shank button

  7. Velcro for closing inner pocket

  8. Optional flap closure on large and jumbo – magnetic closure set
