This is a PDF sewing pattern for the Colne Valley Bag from Charlie’s Aunt Designs. The Colne Valley Bag is a vintage-inspired bag reminiscent of the train travel bags of yester-year. Spacious enough to store all of your essentials but neat enough for everyday use. The Colne Valley bag features a contrasting lower section, double straps (handmade or purchased), as well as an interior patch pocket and an interior zippered pocket. This classy style sews up beautifully in everything from decorator weight fabrics to woolen tweeds, flannel or coating weight fabrics. The Colne Valley bag was named after a heritage steam railway on the Suffolk/Essex border in the UK.
