As Spring approaches, I want to share a free sewing tutorial for creating a super simple fabric Easter basket. These simple and classic baskets are not limited to Easter and can be given as versatile gifts for various events, occasions, and themes. Most beginner sewers can make these sweet fabric baskets for a range of purposes, such as baby showers, teacher or nurse appreciation, Mother's Day, and beyond.



You can also customize them with a little hand or machine embroidery to add a unique touch. Moreover, they can also serve as handy storage bins. Learn how to make your own super simple Easter basket by following this free tutorial from Brother sewing.


You will need:

  • sewing machine

  • 1 yard. cotton fabric exterior

  • 1 yard. cotton fabric liner

  • 1-2 yards of fusible fleece

  • thread

  • iron

  • general sewing and cutting supplies
