Sisters of the Dark Lap Quilt – Stitch and Flip

Krystal Jakelwicz of Let’s Quilt Something stitched this haunting beauty. Black is not typically used as the background color in traditional quilts. However, black transforms this quilt into something very special. This lap quilt is constructed using triangle-squares and stitch-and-flip techniques. The Sisters of the Dark quilt is easy to make and even easier to love. This quilt finishes measuring 67″ × 67″ making it the perfect spooky yet fun Halloween or a Day of the Dead accessory for the sofa. Magazine epattern is from Quilty September/October 2018

You will need:

1. 3/4 yard stripe fabric for binding

2. 4 1/2 yards backing fabric

3. 75″ × 75″ square of quilt batting
