Sew the Campus Clutch Purse

The Campus clutch purse is a perfect size with enough space to hold all of your essentials while still being compact enough to just grab and go. Carry it inside a larger bag to stay organized, or carry it on an evening on the town out. This free bag sewing project from Nancy Spaulding utilizes a Pellon product called  “Flex-Foam“™ single-sided, and double-sided, fusible interfacing. Flex-Foam™ helps to to create shape and definition without the stiffness. The Campus clutch dimensions once completed: 12″ wide x 8″ high x 2″ deep.

Sewing Supplies:

1. 1/2 yard exterior main fabric

2. 1/2 yard of lining/contrast fabric

3. 2″ bias binding strips (if making strips, cut 2 on bias, 2″ x WOF)

4. 1 yard Pellon® FF79F2 Flex-Foam™ double-sided fusible interfacing

5. 1/4 yard Pellon® FF78F1 Flex-Foam™ single-sided fusible interfacing

6. 1/2 yard Pellon® SF101 Shape-Flex®

7. 2 – packages bias piping (optional) or make your own custom piping

8. 1 – 14″ zipper

9. 1 – twist lock set
