The "Roly-Poly Bag" sewing pattern allows you to create a beautiful purse that can easily transform from a handbag to a shoulder bag or a crossbody bag. Inspired by a playful, wobbly design, this bag lives up to its Roly-Poly name. Perfect for advanced beginners, this sewing project blends functionality with enjoyment. The bag design includes a top flap closure with a connected handle, and you have the option to add shoulder or crossbody straps. For added security, the bag features a twist lock and an inside zippered storage compartment.
Once finished, the bag measures 25cm wide x 18cm high x 10cm deep, or 10" wide x 7" high x 4" deep. You can replace the twist lock with a magnetic snap, and you can secure the top handle to the top flap with a box stitch if you don't want to use rivets.
