An adorable quilted zipper pouch with a patchwork heart design from Minki Kim is fun to stitch and is perfect to use as a phone case, to carry cosmetics, cash, or some craft supplies. Assembles quickly and makes a sweet little Valentine gift. Pull some pretty scraps and get sewing! Finished size 8 3/4’’ wide × 6 1/2’’ high.

Supplies:

  • twelve assorted red/pink fabric scraps for the heart - (12) 1 1/2’’ x 1 1/2’’

  • fat quarter quilting cotton for pouch front

  • 10’’ square quilting cotton for pouch back

  • fat quarter for lining

  • cotton batting or foam stabilizer - fat quarter

  • two (2) 2’’ x 1 1/2’’ fabric scraps for zipper tab

  • 8’’ zipper
