Everybody will delight in discovering one of these cushioned pouches nestled in their Christmas stocking or offered as a considerate gift year-round. These padded pouches serve as the perfect accessory for safeguarding a mobile phone or media player. Craft them with vibrant and cheerful fabric prints for children or coordinate with classic florals, stripes, and contemporary designs for adults. Project guidelines incorporate three closure alternatives and the choice to include a convenient wrist strap. Once completed, this pouch measures 10 cm x 14 cm (4” x 5½”). This PDF sewing pattern was showcased in the December 2013 issue of Sewing World Magazine.

The fabrics used in examples shown – a selection of cotton prints from Robert Kaufman Fabrics, Moda Fabrics and Rowan Fabrics. Instructions include both metric and imperial measurements and the templates (pattern pieces) are included for all the shaped pieces. The measurements are given for straight cut pieces. Advanced beginners.
