Lobster Quilt Block Pattern by ellisandhiggs

An advanced/confident beginner lobster quilt block pattern using traditional machine piecing techniques. You can use this quilt block pattern to create a quilt or other fun projects such as pillows, beach bags, table runners, wall hangings, mug rugs, etc. This fun nautical quilt block pattern provides cover with a picture of the unfinished quilt blocks, a complete fabric requirements list, and diagrammed step-by-step instructions. This pattern uses instructions for cutting out the pieces with a rotary cutter and quilting ruler and does not contain actual size templates. You may sell handcrafted items made from this pattern under the noted conditions within the Terms of Use.


Sizes of completed quilt blocks:

  • 12" by 6" (30.5 by 15.2 cm) or,

  • 24" by 12" (61 by 30.5 cm)
