A digital crochet pattern by chabepatterns

crochet dinosaur backpack pattern

This design includes crochet basic stitches, a mid-level tapestry crochet pattern, easy shaping and finishing techniques. Tapestry crochet refers to the overall technique of incorporating colorwork into crochet projects. This method entails working with two or more colors within a single row and transitioning between them according to a specified color pattern, often represented in a chart. The color that is not currently being used is either carried within the stitch or along the back (or wrong side) of the project. An intermediate level pattern.

The dinosaur's head will work as a lid and adds the fun touch to the design. The backpack straps can be crocheted for 3-6 year old kids. Backpack is one size only and will measure 10.2” x 9.3”/ 26 cm x 23.5 cm once completed.

STITCHES AND TECHNIQUES:

• Slip stitch

• Single crochet (UK double crochet)

• Tapestry crochet
