A lightweight, washable, and environmentally friendly tote bag, if you upcycle some shirts. Perfect for the spring and summer time! Mix solid and printed fabrics!

Here is what you will need:

  1. paper, pencil, and ruler for patterning

  2. 3 to 4  t-shirts if upcycling

  3. 4 pieces of 6″ x 4″ knit fabric for strap covers

  4. 34″ of trim or piping

  5. 1 yard of light or medium weight interfacing

  6. magnetic snap

  7. Two small pieces of felt

  8. fabric glue
