Stitch up a set of these sweet nesting triangle pouches designed by Kristine Elizondo Hatch of StickySugarStitches to store and organize your things or to give as a practical (and pretty) custom sewn gift. The curved zippers give these purses a unique style while offering more storage space than you might expect. With this PDF sewing pattern, you can sew four sizes of the same pouch to create a lovely nested set. The smallest pouch is a little coin purse and the largest pouch can be used as a small cosmetic bag. This pattern calls for some hand sewing which can be relaxing and good Triangle Nesting Zipper Pouches nestedpractice.

The finished pouch sizes are:

  • large – 6″ x 6″
  • medium – 5″ x 5″
  • small – 4″ x 4″
  • extra small – 3″ x 3″

Sewing Supplies:

  • 4 fat quarters or scraps large enough to fit pattern for the exterior
  • 4 fat quarters for lining fabrics and bias binding
  • 1 fat quarter or 1/4 – 1/3 yard of batting or fleece
  • use coil zippers so you can easily sew through them
  • extra small – 9 inch zipper
  • small – 12 inch zipper
  • medium – 14 inch zipper
  • large – 16 inch zipper
  • coordinating ribbon for zipper pull and loop
